Dick van Motman
Global CEO, Creative & Content, Dentsu Aegis Network
Dick is best described as a cultural & business transformation driven corporate entrepreneur well versed in building both brands and business globally. In 2012, he became Chairman & CEO to lead Dentsu Asia, an integrated agency offering and part of the first Global Communications Group born out of Asia.
After the acquisition of Aegis Media Plc by Dentsu, he led the combined Dentsu Aegis Network offering for South East Asia doubling it in size in 4 years (+3000 pax and 35 units) through a combination of organic growth and M&A. In 2019, he was asked to lead the newly formed Global Creative and Content division of Dentsu Aegis Network as Global CEO and part of the Global Executive team.
Dick is recognized for his exemplary contributions by his industry peers. Under his leadership, DDB in 2010 became the Campaign Creative Agency of the Year, Digital Agency AOY and Adage A-list AOY. Dick is the first foreigner to be awarded ‘Most Outstanding Advertising Person’ by China Advertising / CCTV (China Central Television). 'The Internationalist' named him one of the top 50 Global Trendsetters in 2010. Since 2017, Dentsu got awarded APAC Agency Network of the year by AdFest 3 times in a row.
He is also on the board of Mobile Marketing Association, an angel investor in various start-ups and was the main sponsor of the Anne Frank Tree Foundation in Holland.
