TORONTO – Dentsu Aegis Network today announced the launch of dentsumcgarrybowen, a new global full-service creative agency combining best-in-class creative services and brand solutions, bringing together mcgarrybowen and Dentsu brand agencies. dentsumcgarrybowen will be leaders in idea-led brand transformation on a global scale. In Canada, the new dentsumcgarrybowen officially relaunches legacy Canadian creative force DentsuBos as part of the new, globally connected agency network. dentsumcgarrybowen Canada immediately has scaled teams in Toronto and Montreal. Current clients include Lexus, Subway, Chartered Professional Accountants, The Beer Store, Arterra Wines, Hitachi, Consigneco and TC Transcontinental.
dentsumcgarrybowen will be led by Global Co-Presidents, Merlee Jayme and Jon Dupuis, who will report to Jean Lin, Global CEO, Creative, Dentsu Aegis Network. Gordon Bowen, Founder and Global Chairman of mcgarrybowen will take on the role of Global Chairman of dentsumcgarrybowen. In Canada, the dentsumcgarrybowen team will be led by Stephen Kiely, CEO – an 18-year veteran of dentsu, and Rich Pryce-Jones joining from dentsu sister agency, Grip, to lead creative as Chief Creative Officer.
This new global agency is part of the newly formed Creative line of business at Dentsu Aegis Network that connects and nurtures talent from across the network’s creative, content, design & experience agencies. In Canada, dentsumcgarrybowen is complimented by leading digital innovation Isobar, and full-service boutique agency Grip.
