Dentsu Aegis Network launches Amnet in Bulgaria

Published on:

8 August 2015, Sofia: Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the launch of Amnet, its digital trading desk, in Bulgaria, becoming the first company to provide digital programmatic buying on the local market. This new approach in buying digital media will set aside the traditional methods of audience buying towards a more progressive and personalized approach which combines people, data and technology to deliver real time, targeted ads to the most relevant consumers.

The launch of Amnet Bulgaria will increase the agency's global footprint to 35 markets worldwide, and will enable the agency to provide its global expertise in a region where programmatic buying is experiencing its first steps. As part of Dentsu Aegis Network Bulgaria, Amnet starts to operate in a market where close to 6 billion RTB impressions pass DSPs monthly.

Maria Grachnova, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Bulgaria said: "This is a very exciting investment we make for the benefit of our clients. As a leading player in digital, with market-leading agencies like Carat, Vizeum and iProspect in our group, we want our clients to get the best of global standards in this important area – hence, the decision to bring Amnet to Bulgaria. Given our expectations of continued strong growth in this market, I believe Amnet will enable us to bring new ways to Bulgaria to drive digital results that will increase the effectiveness of digital media investments. Amnet combines people, data and technology to deliver real time, target ads to the most relevant consumers and we do believe that with this additional offer we are very well equipped for the next future digital challenges in Bulgaria."

Ashwini Karandikar, Global Head, Amnet, commented: “Amnet is part of the communications planning infrastructure at Dentsu Aegis Network and strives to deliver better performing media through better audience targeting. We are excited to launch in Bulgaria and deliver strategic, measureable and sustainable business outcomes for our brand and direct-response clients.”

Amnet Bulgaria is counting on the professional experience of the specialists of Amnet Poland who became a HUB of network in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. Pawel Laskowski, General Manager, Amnet Poland, explained:

“We believe that the trend of programmatic buying becomes an industry standard. Our global customers expect increased efficiency, accurate reach of target audience and at the same time they pay special attention to the new campaign’s KPIs (e.g. viewability). For this reason, we want the tools and standards of Amnet to be available on the greatest possible number of Dentsu Aegis Network markets.

Amnet Hub for CEE countries has been created in order to support and accelerate the implementation of new solutions and unique knowledge in our region.

Our cooperation with Amnet Bulgaria in this initial phase is very good. In my opinion the team in Bulgaria is really involved and interested in new approach of trading/buying inventory. We have implemented the necessary procedures and launched the first campaigns where the efficiency is in line with clients’ and our goals.”

Milena Mishineva, Head of Amnet Bulgaria, added: „Amnet differs from all other competitors’ platforms due to the fact that it enables its clients’ data to remain their own property. Amnet is keeping the information of its clients without uniting or sharing any part of it which ensures its integrity and inability to become known by their competitors.”

Throughout Amnet client can monitor any consumer segment in the online environment with precise accuracy, using contextual and behavioral targeting to build better communication strategies and plans for engagement of its audience. The Amnet analysts are using a combination of algorithm technology and data, allowing the company to develop and improve in real-time the way it creates and delivers audiences, manages data, makes reports and conclusions. This will help the right ads to be delivered to the right people, at the right time. The platform will fuse the best demand-side platform (DSP) technology to buy highly targeted and audience-specific digital media across display, mobile and video.
