In the Fall of 2012, DentsuBos orchestrated the nationwide launch of a new yogurt brand called Iögo, the most prolific launch ever in the Canadian yogurt industry. In just 18 months, the agency had to create a brand from scratch, come up with a brand strategy, the design for the global communications scenario, the communications platform, the media strategy and, of course, the product itself.

The campaign was unveiled via television, newspaper ads, indoor and outdoor print ads. It was preceeded by a period of teasers, meant to pique the curiosity of consumers.

Hitachi is an international organization with a head office in Tokyo. In January 2013, DentsuBos was selected to create a global campaign that would position Hitachi as a serious challenger to multinational giants like IBM, GE, and Siemens. A powerful integrated multichannel approach was implemented in 17 countries (TV, magazines, newspapers, B2B, web).  

Our global campaign succeeded in kick starting Hitachi’s equity in the market, with the uniqueness of its signature line “It's our Future” recall of the brand ranks in the #1 or #2 position in every country.

A two phase launch for new market positioning

The launch plan for the Lexus IS Series consisted of two distinct phases; pre-launch and launch. 

During the pre-launch, communication consisted of DM, Dealer POP, Auto Shows, and Digital. At launch the focus of the campaign shifted to synchronize a message that communicated the vehicle as a performance sedan that activates all your senses. 

The launch marked the biggest digital spend for Lexus EVER! The Lexus IS Series campaign reinforced the new positioning for the Lexus brand as a dynamic new luxury brand.

Sapporo

Sapporo

Sapporo is one of Japan’s best selling beers. In Canada, Sapporo was ordered mostly in sushi restaurants. 

DentsuBos was tasked with changing that. In an epic two-minute video, viewers experienced a journey through the mythical Sapporo brewery. Samurais, geishas and sumo wrestlers all participated in brewing Japan’s legendary premium beer. The video, launched on YouTube, was cut down to 60 and 15-second TV spots. 

Results earned Sapporo a Cassie for Best Integrated Program and DentsuBos an invitation to help create the same success for Sapporo in the US.

True Originals was focused around empowering and fuelling creativity in today’s youth. Through a partnership with Canon, MTV Canada and online influencers, we created an online campaign that inspired and celebrated all different forms artistic expression while promoting the Canon Rebel T5i.

The campaign followed the DentsuBos vision of openness, simplicity and collaboration. We followed a process where all stakeholders could share their thoughts and visions for the campaign in an open environment with complete freedom from non-constructive criticism.
