Dentsu Aegis Network Canada Teams Participate in Creative Hack

04 Dec 2017

Toronto - In an event designed to accelerate ideation to solve client needs, top creative minds from across Dentsu Aegis Network Canada and global media partner Facebook came together on November 29 and 30 for the first local edition of the Craft Matters Creative Hack.

Creative brands DentsuBos, GRIP and Isobar, lifestyle marketing brand MKTG, and entertainment content agency The Story Lab formed teams to collaborate on a client challenge applying insights from a focus on leveraging data and technology to impact creative ideation and delivery across digital platforms.

“We’re focused on enabling client competitive advantage by bringing together our diverse creative community and a global media partner to ideate great creative ideas,” said Annette Warring, Dentsu Aegis Network Canada CEO. “This original program is designed to demonstrate why “Craft Matters” in relation to creative, planning, measurement and data.”

With Facebook’s support of best practices and trends to help strong ideas come to life, the event explores four themes influencing the future of creative & content businesses: mobile-first design; data-led, dynamic creative; immersive experiences; and commerce.

The work resulting from this creative partnership will be evaluated on four key elements:  creativity, innovation, strategy and craft by Will Oatley, SVP Amplifi; Jeff Greenspoon, Co-CEO Isobar and Sandy Di Felice, CMO Dentsu Aegis Network.
